Way back in 1890 Otto Pollak, one of the pioneers of stockbroking in South Africa, became a member of the JSE and, in the process, laid the platform on which would subsequently stand the lineage of one of the greatest names in securities trading in South Africa – Max Pollak and Freemantle.
Today, 120 years later, Frankel Pollack now trades as Sasfin Securities (SasSec) – a stockbroking and portfolio management organisation that has never lost sight of the historical value of personal attention.
