How We Do It
By no means is there a one size fits all solution for foreign trade; and therefore the manner in which we provide foreign trade solutions depends entirely on the needs of individual clients.
Some clients benefit from making use of the complete foreign trade offering while others require a combination of some of the parts. Regardless of the particular solution which you require we are able to package an offering which meets your needs.
If you are unsure of the exact services which you require, the best starting point would be to contact one of Business Finance experts who can help you package the most appropriate solution. Otherwise you can contact the key decision makers directly for a specific service.

How We Do It
The features of our trade finance package are:
you will have high level interaction with a key Sasfin decision-maker
a short timeframe on application decisions
the facility to access foreign currency for future offshore purchase commitments or for exposure under letters of credit opened
the issue of guarantees to facilitate client transactions
The six-step trade finance process works as follows:
The client places the order with the supplier; Sasfin confirms the order; the supplier ships the goods ordered and forwards the documents to Sasfin; Sasfin pays the supplier; the client pays Sasfin on agreed terms.
Sasfin pays the foreign or local supplier directly and allows the client up to 180 days for payment.
Payment to the supplier can be made by Sasfin in the form of swift payment - either on a full value or deposit basis - a letter of confirmation or, in the case of local transactions, a bank transfer. td>
