Sasfin Banking Business exit

Sasfin has exited its banking business.  This was first announced in October 2024 followed by a series of updates outlining the closure process and its implications for account holders. 

Following engagement with the Prudential Authority regarding the relinquishment of Sasfin’s banking licence, all remaining funds were required to be transferred by 2 March 2026. 

Please note:  If no action was taken by you, Sasfin is no longer be able to assist with payout requests. 

What happens now:

• Your account balance and all associated documentation will be transferred to a bank nominated by Sasfin, which details will be communicated in due course.
• The nominated bank will manage all future claims and enquiries regarding these funds.
